How this works.

Worstbid is a joke with a payment processor attached. Here are the actual rules, in plain language.

It's satire, and it says so

Worstbid is satire and entertainment. Rankings are subjective and do not represent factual claims, reviews, or endorsements.

A listing's position reflects how much backing and attention that listing has received on this site. It is not a review, a rating, a benchmark, or a statement of fact about any product or company.

What you're actually buying

Worstbid is the seller. When you back a listing you are purchasing a digital participation action from Worstbid — nothing more. Between $1 and $50,000 per action.

No money is paid to, held for, or transferred to any listed product or company. There is no revenue sharing, no payout, and no user-to-user payment.

There is no wager, no random outcome, and no prize. Your backing level determines your participation level according to these published rules and nothing else.

How rankings are calculated

Listings are ordered by total confirmed backing, highest first. Ties are broken by whoever received the most recent confirmed backing.

Only payments our processor has confirmed count. An abandoned or failed checkout moves nothing. Rankings are computed on the server; nothing a browser sends can change them.

Getting listed, and getting unlisted

Anyone can nominate a product with its public URL, and listing is free. Owners can claim their listing using the email on file.

If you own a product and want it off the board, use Report listingon its page. We remove listings on request from their owner, and we remove anything that's impersonation, misleading, infringing, or just not funny in the right way.

Refunds

Backing is a novelty purchase and is generally final. If something went wrong — a duplicate charge, a listing removed right after you backed it — report it and we'll sort it out.
